Its been awhile since we updated the news section of
the website. Since our great start in 2010, we have earned
4 titles and won 9 more sanctioned MMA fights! Congrats
to our athletes on a great job training and performing in the
cage. Next up is Brawl at Bourbon St. July 22nd and The
Total Fight Challenge July 23rd!

Team One MMA is 15-0 in MMA Competition for 2010!
I would like to personally thank all of the Team One MMA
athletes for making this the best year of my martial arts career.

The results are in... with Jason and TJ's victories July 23rd,
Team One MMA is 7-0 in MMA Competition for 2010!
TJ made short work of his opponent a few kicks, a BIG takedown
& an arm triangle submission finish for the win in 53 seconds of rd 1.
Jason improves his perfect record to 2-0 with a 1:38 rd 1 TKO-
Ref Stoppage from GnP strikes. Congrats to our athletes!
TJ fought at 185 lbs Friday but will be defending his 170 lbs
title in November... We Will Keep You Posted!

Kyle Ganbarg, Mohammed Joudah,
and Jason Ignacek
Our fighters made their MMA debuts at the Bourbon St.
Brawl on May 19th. All were victorious making Team One
5-0 for 2010! Mohammed stopped his opponent with a
body kick, fracturing his opponents rib in round two giving
him a TKO victory. Kyle ground and pounded his opponent
from back mount to a 3rd round tap out win. Jason had the
fight of the night with 3 high paced rounds of action! Jason
fought hard & took the match on the judges cards for the win.
I am so proud of our fighters! These three fighters on average
had under 8 months of training... for them to go out and have
the success they had speaks volumes for our training methods,
techniques, gym atmosphere, and the heart of our athletes.

CONGRATS TO TEAM ONE FIGHTERS
JASON HUGGY and MITCH BRETALL
Both made their MMA debuts at the Naperville Fight Night
held by Cutthroat MMA. Jason stopped his opponents
wrestling and caught him with a leg triangle at 2:12 of the
first round. Mitch unleashed a brutal beatdown of his
opponent finishing by RNC 1:45 of round one.
We are so proud of our fighters! These fighters are the first
athletes from our gym that we trained from day one... for
them to do so well in the cage speaks volumes of our
coaching methods, training partners, and the never give
up attitude of our gym. Congrats again guys!

THEY COMPETED AT NAGA in Oak Lawn on April 24th
Kyle competed in Teen No-Gi Grappling Featherweight
and brought home another Gold! Richie took third place with
less than 6 months training & his first competition!

Championships. 3 First Place, 2 Second Place, and 3 Third
